The shipped memory
This directory is the project memory the engine was built with, exported at release time from the author’s Claude Code project. It is part of the product: the codebase carries its own reasoning, so you can continue with Claude instead of reverse-engineering.
Install
Section titled “Install”npm run setup:claude-memoryThe installer copies this directory to ~/.claude/projects/<slug>/memory/, where <slug>
is the slug Claude Code derives from this checkout’s path. It refuses to overwrite a
non-empty memory unless you pass --force; --dry-run shows the target only.
Layout
Section titled “Layout”| Path | What it is |
|---|---|
MEMORY.md | the index: one short line per topic, loaded into every session through CLAUDE.md |
<slug>.md | a campaign or subsystem map |
feedback_<slug>.md | a reusable lesson, with why and how to apply |
archive/ | settled campaigns, kept for grepping |
What was changed at export
Section titled “What was changed at export”- Files about the commercial side of the project were dropped, together with the index
lines that routed to them, and a few single lines were replaced by
<!-- line redacted at export -->. - Absolute paths were rewritten to placeholders such as
<repo root>,<physics workspace: pinionfall/physics>,<sibling project x, not included>,(a local plan file, not included). - The
originSessionIdfrontmatter key was removed. file:linecitations are as written at the time; some have drifted.
The sun of the home system is called Naliay. That name is not a leftover.
